Centerless grinding machine 3А423
The spindle unit of the grinding head is treated. Verification is carried out on the part — surface roughness and ovality of the workpiece.
Spindle unit of the grinding head of machine 3А423: 90 l of oil in the system
The class norm is 0.6 ml per litre of working fluid; 1.2 ml/l has been assigned for the spindle oil bath. Centerless Grinding Machines →
What is treated
- Serviceable units and systems of the machine without parts worn out 100 %.
What is measured before and after
| Parameter | Instrument | How and when |
|---|---|---|
| Surface roughness of the reference part | profilometer | The same part, the same instrument and settings. |
| Ovality of the machined workpiece | micrometer | To an accuracy of 0.01 mm. |
| Vibration level of the spindle bearing units | vibrometer | In the radial direction. |
Dosage rates
| Compound | Rate | How and when |
|---|---|---|
| Gel for compressors and bearings | 1.2 ml per 1 litre of standard oil per stage | 90 l system: 108 ml per stage (12 tubes), 324 ml for three stages — 12 + 12 + 12. |
Treatment stages
- Dilute the gel in 0.5 l of standard oil (40–50 °C) and introduce it into the oil bath of the spindle unit.Start of operating-time count
- The second stage is the same as the first. After 8–12 hours of machine operating time
- The third stage is the same as the first. After a further 8–12 hours
After treatment
- The full cycle is not less than 500 hours from the start of treatment.
Points to watch
- Carrier oil — 0.5 l, heated to 40–50 °C.
- Vibration is measured in the radial direction of the spindle bearing units.
