EHS 250/160 screw compressor

Screw compressor with a capacity of 20 m³/min. The only machine among those analysed where treatment is carried out in four stages.

EHS 250/160 screw compressor, 160 kW, 80 l oil sump

The class standard is 0.8 ml per litre in 5 stages. For this machine the engineer prescribed 1.25 ml/l in 4 stages. Screw and centrifugal compressors →

Treatment stages

  1. Dilute the gel in oil at 50–60 °C (1 part gel to 5–10 parts oil) and add it to the oil sump. After adding — 2 minutes of idle running without pressure load.Start of operating-hours count
  2. The second stage is performed in the same way as the first. After 8–12 operating hours
  3. The third stage is performed in the same way as the first. After a further 8–12 hours
  4. The fourth stage is performed in the same way as the first. After a further 8–12 hours
